Ukraine to get high speed rail →
So out of curiosity I crunched some numbers.. the Ukraine rail system should be (give or take, calculated via highways, not as the crow flies) ~1645kms.
A Bris-Syd-Mel high speed train (which would alleviate the world’s busiest domestic air corridor) would be ~1796kms (using same lazy calculation).
This difference is only ~151kms.

Apple is rejecting apps that use the Dropbox API because when signing up to their site as a user has the option to buy more space, circumventing Apple’s 30% cut of in-app purchase.

How to extract stuff from iOS apps
Find the app you want in iTunes, right click, show in finder
Copy to a secure location, like your desktop
Change the extension from .ipa to .zip, then unzip
Note: if you want to open the PNG images you find, you will need to “uncrush” them via this free utility.

I’m both saddened that this indicates nothing will seemingly change in the near future (in this regard), and surprised that not one other parent comment exists. If I can buy a gun, I can shoot someone - If I can’t buy a gun, I can’t shoot someone.

How to setup VLC for Anime
If you want to make the default language English and disable subtitles, do the following.
Quit VLC
Go to ~/Library/Preferences/org.videolan.vlc and open the file called vlcrc, open it
Look for #audio-language= and make it #audio-language=English, Japanese
Look for #sub-track=-1 and make it #sub-track=99
Look for #sub-track-id=-1 and make it #sub-track-id=99
Save
Voila!

DropBox: 8GB referral Space Using AdWords for... →
Can’t believe this worked. I now have 11GB for free. A mate has 16GB. Think it depends on what other referrals / promotions you’d used before and or if you have a .edu email (which rewards more space). But the bottom line is I reached 11GB of lifetime Dropbox space in a couple hours for only a couple bux! Thanks for the tip @bdyling.
