Tired of the generic Dropbox folder icon on the left? How to achieve the symbolic icon on the right:

  1. Quit Dropbox
  2. Download the latest version of Dropbox
  3. Install
  4. Fire up Dropbox & let it update
  5. Open Terminal, enter “killall Finder” (without quotes), hit enter. Quit Terminal
  6. Voila!
